We would like to give a very warm welcome to our first Advisor, Professor Sir Brian Heap. With his experience and expertise, he will be able to share with us his knowledge particularly as UK Representative on the NATO Science Committee, UK Representative on the European Science Foundation and his work with the World Health Organisation. Such will undoubtedly provide an invaluable source of inspiration and education to our members, whether it be relating to future career paths or insights into the role of science into global affairs and sustainable development which has direct relevance to the Millennium Development Goals.
