1) New Editor position available
CUUNA (Cambridge University United Nations Association) is currently looking for a new editor. We’re looking for someone with editorial and formatting skills, who will be able to produce a termly magazine of about 20 pages long. Attached is a link to our previous publication, please ensure that you are able to do something of similar quality if you wish to apply.
You will be an official member of the CUUNA Executive Committee, but attendance at committee meeting and other events may be negotiated.

a) Your contact details, college, year of study
b) an example of your past work (articles, layout, design, magazine formatting experience required)

2) Request for articles for our next publication (Michaelmas 2007)
The CUUNA Publication is a free publication distributed to Cambridge students by CUUNA every term. The magazine aims to provide a student discussion forum for international affairs, including conflict and international relations, social and economic progress, environmental issues, and human rights. It also seeks stimulate debate concerning the UN’s role in these areas.
The next issue of CUUNA Publication will be released mid-Michaelmas. We are asking for articles in advance so that you can write them over the summer holidays.
The theme for the magazine is ‘The Global Water Crisis’; you can write on the following topics in relation to this:
- Economic
- Developmental
- Political (Water security, Law, Water Policy)
- Environmental

3) Request for articles of your UN experience
As part of the publication, we would also like an article on past UN experience including
- Model UN
- Internships with UN related organisation
- Volunteer work for NGOs affiliated to UN
Articles should not exceed 1500 words long. Please email editor@cuuna.org asap to indicate your interest in contributing an article, the deadline to submit articles is 5th OCTOBER 2007.
Any article sent will be included and edited at the editor’s discretion.
