International Mother Language Day was proclaimed by UNESCO’s General
Conference in November 1999. It has been observed every year since February
2000 to promote linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism.
Join CUUNA for a fun and informative afternoon – uncover the mysteries of
languages foreign to you and discover the amazing powers of your own mother
tongue! Here is a sneaky peek into the exciting programme for the afternoon:

6.15 – 6.30 Quiz on languages, with prize!
A wide selection of international food and drinks will also be provided.
FREE entry, no need to book in advance. This is an event that’s not to be
