This year, the Cambridge University United Nations Association celebrates its 75th anniversary. Since its founding in 1946, CUUNA has gone through a myriad of changes, from renaming to reconstruction, but I’m proud to say that the students of today still share the vision of the students who founded the society: that international cooperation is essential for global change; that international institutions - though often imperfect - can be powerful forces for good; and, above all, that we all share a common responsibility to our fellow people.

There are dozens of opportunities for anybody to get involved in CUUNA, from working on a external project, to organising one of our conference, to attending events, or public speaking and debate. I hope you will enjoy being a part of the CUUNA community and I can’t wait to see what we achieve this year!
