On behalf of the CUUNA Committee, welcome to the Cambridge University United Nations Association!

Amidst the current landscape of heightened global tensions and unprecedented calamities unfolding right before our eyes, we observe growing disillusionment with international institutions. However, this perspective should not overshadow the substantial achievements and progress the UN and its subsidiary organs have championed throughout their history. At CUUNA, we believe that restoring faith in international cooperation begins with meaningful engagement and substantive dialogue - principles that will guide our society’s mission and activities under my helm.

As President, I am devoted to bringing our society to the next level through a comprehensive programming of debates, events and professional development opportunities. This academic year, we are pioneering CUUNA’s very own series of diplomatic engagements to offer members authentic insights into international relations. We have recently conducted visits to the World Bank Office in London and the Austrian Cultural Forum, with forthcoming visits to embassies and United Nations offices planned throughout the academic year. These opportunities, complemented by our weekly debate sessions and the relaunch of the UK’s oldest Model UN conference, CUIMUN, provide valuable forums for our members to deliberate pressing global issues as they develop into tomorrow’s diplomatic leaders.

It is my privilege to lead CUUNA forward this year with dedication, passion and a steadfast commitment to nurturing the inclusive spirit that defines our society. I encourage you to engage with CUUNA through our events and social media platforms to remain informed of our initiatives.
